The BOS H-Series represents the next generation of high-pressure homogenizers from BOS Homogenisers. Developed to complement and extend the proven MG-series, the H-Series delivers reliable homogenisation performance at a competitive investment level — making it an ideal choice for dairy, beverage, and food processing operations seeking maximum efficiency without compromise.
Technical Features
Cylinder Block
Single piece precision from forged stainless steel. Standard utilized with spring loaded plunger packings with integrated water cooling. Valves & seats can be out of the following materials according to your specifications/ requirements: Rexalloy, Tungsten carbide.
Homogenising Valve
Find the perfect valve for your product. Choose from a variety of designs and materials, such as rexalloy, tungsten carbide, ceramic or diamond coating, and our one or two stage options.
Drive End
Our unique concept offers a quiet running machine with low eccentric shaft speeds. The electric driven oil pump lubricates all bearings, allowing capacity variation between 30 – 100% under full load.
Rexalloy: Suitable for general-purpose, wear-resistant
Tungsten Carbide: Ideal for highly abrasive environment
Ceramic: Excellent chemical resistance.
Diamond Coating: Provides exceptional hardness and lifespan.

The H-Series has been engineered from the ground up to deliver reliable high-pressure homogenisation across a wide range of production environments. Designed for dairy, beverage, and food applications, the H-Series operates at pressures up to 400 bar, offering the flexibility required for demanding processes.
Engineering Highlights
Built on 75 years of homogenisation expertise, the H-Series features a durable and compact stainless-steel frame engineered for low vibration and robust, stable operation. Key engineering features include:
- Poppet pumping valves: Optimized product flow and high volumetric efficiency for consistent process performance.
- Air-cooled lubrication oil: Reduces water consumption and simplifies installation — no cooling water connection required.
- Compact stainless-steel frame: Low vibration design ensures stable operation and a small footprint on the production floor.
- Interchangeable homogenizing valves: Compatible with the full range of BOS valve options — Stellite, Tungsten Carbide, Ceramic, and Diamond-coated — to match specific product requirements.
- Flexible motor options: IE3/IE4 electric motors available, with optional frequency inverter for variable speed control, supporting energy-efficient and adaptable processing.

H-Series vs. MG-Series
The H-Series complements the established BOS MG-series. While the MG-series covers capacities from 40 l/h (MG2) up to 140,000 l/h (MG140) with pressures up to 1,400 bar, the H-Series focuses on the 400-bar segment with an optimized cost-performance ratio. For applications requiring higher pressures or extreme capacities, the MG-series remains the benchmark.

Spherical valves our standard execution, high efficient and low noise. These valves are spring loaded, suitable for processing viscose and moderate abrasive products. Ball valves this option is well known for abrasive products or fluids with hard solid parts.
